Got two codes for a lift pump which has been replaced and a crank sensor which has not Been replaced. When the truck is warm and in park it idles somewhat rough like it has a small.misfire. but when you press the brake to put a load on the engine it idled fine. Can the cps cause a small misfire/bad idle??

 

yes it can cause a rough idle. i had a similar issue. replaced the cps which is kinda annoying to do being behind the vp but fixed the problem
