Sounds like restricted airflow problem with it not cooling at a stop.

X2 to the above comments. This will also drive up high side pressures. We fix probably 5 a month with this issue. Orifice tube/expansion valve usually doesn't give issue unless someone's used sealer in the system at which point its common to see the low side pressures bottom out.

Could be a vacuum leak and at low rpm the door in the heater box switches the door to heat. As the rpm increase the vacuum pulls the door back the other way. Is 4X4 not engaging or cruise control not working right they all run off vacuum. Had it happen mine when the line to the cruise control cracked.

Haven't had the time to do anything on it with school, work, and the shitty weather. But the cruise and 4wd work great.

i just fixed my ac on my cab tractor. my low side was very low. the expansion valve was the trouble. i also put a new dryer on and pulled a vac. new oil and freon. i never remember it working so good now.

I am interested to see what the issue is, my old man's 95 12v does the same thing....
