Truck has done this even before programmer mods are ( 4inch mbrp turboback, k&n intake, raptor 150, bd diesel intake elbow, on performance setting ) truck will throw smoke and the almost stutter it seems till it hits second and pulls strong, someone had suggested it was spinning but I hear nor see spinning or smoke. My guess is transmission slipping.. Plz help with diag on this or suggestions thanks.

Have you checked for codes with a reader or key trick?

 

no codes not sure about the key trick?

 

The key trick pulls the codes from the computers, it is on, off, on, off, on and looking at the odometer window watching for codes. If you get a P dOnE and a E dOnE then you have no codes stored in the computers, or they have been cleared by the truck after 40 cold to warm starts.
