hard starting??

so i wired my raptor 150 to a switch. seems to help my hard start. is there anything bad about running my LP this way?? i notice that after i put it on a switch my fuel PSI droped when WOT down to 9psi. at idle its 15-15.5psi. i think i might jump it up to 17-18. any thoughts??
