I'd be more worried about the labor bill.

Dennis buys and sells vps by the truck load. They have a store front but they are an online parts distributor. Their business is selling high volume parts. They had to change vendors for injection pumps a good while back to keep the pumps cheap. Its almost impossible for anyone around Ky or anywhere else to compete with his vp prices, there's always a trade off for cheap. You wanted the cheapest injection pump you could find and now you spent extra money that could have went towards a pump from somewhere else. Dont bash tbred, you get what you pay for.

I have done business with them and I've never had any problems.

I vote you're only telling you're side of the story and you're leaving something out.

each time I call the are always very helpful, I have ordered multiple things from them. I ordered and exhaust from them and one of the clamps got damaged in shipping. I called and they sent me an new one right away it wasn't there fault it came pre packaged from the exhaust company but they took care of it.

MillerBoyzDiesel says, "...there's always a trade off for cheap. You wanted the cheapest injection pump you could find and now you spent extra money that could have went towards a pump from somewhere else. Dont bash tbred, you get what you pay for." I completely agree!

Thoroughbred Diesel has always been a reliable vendor to me, and as the testaments in this thread show, lot's of other people have also enjoyed excellent service from them. While it's unfortunate your experience was less than satisfactory, your advice for people on this forum, "DONT DO BUISNESS THROUGH THROUGHBRED DIESEL" won't influence the many satisfied customers of the company who's name you misspelled. BTW, use spell-check next time. Your posts will be more pleasurable to read.

In the future, any "agreement" you think you have with a company regarding warranty service, parts replacement, and/or financial responsibility in the case of parts failure should probably be in writing. If it's not, you don't have an actionable agreement.

Best of luck in the future!
