Default truck died and won't start

my dad started his truck this morning and after about a minute it died. it ran fine right up until it died. when it died it did not stumble, smoke or anything. it just shut off like someone turned the key off. it is completely stock other than a F.A.S.S. system and a small programmer. where do we start. I don't know much about vp44 trucks

the tank is full. the only code it is showing is p0234. which I believe is over boost. so that shouldn't have any effect. does the vp44 have a shut off solenoid that could have possibly gone bad

If the horn works swap the horn relay and fuel relay. If you bump the starter the lift pump should run for about 25sec. Can you hear it running? If so, loosen injector lines 1,3,&4 at the head and see it you are getting fuel to the injectors.
