Default Headlight switch issue

The other day I went to turn my headlights on and I only got the parking lights to come on no headlights at all I had this happen in the past and I flicked my switch on the column to high beams and back and they came on and never had the problem since. Now I can't get them to come on no matter what I do. Is it the headlight switch that I'm looking at replacing? Thanks!

Remove the half shells on the steering column. If you have a tilt column, it is very common for the wires to break at the connecter. Very easy fix. It will either be that or the turn single switch has given up the ghost. Look close at the wiring. Give them a tug one at a time. Sometimes the wires break inside and look ok when glanced at but find to be broken when pulling on them inside the insulation. Good Luck
