hey guys i hope you can help i got a 99 ex. cab well i have a issue the power wire from the alternator to the fuse box under the hood almost sent the truck up in flames yesterday but it didnt blow the 140A fuse! I know the voltage regulator is in the pcm and wanted to see if any of you had any ideas of what it may be??? all connections are tight no broken/ frayed wires or loose connections. anyy help is appriciated

Sounds like that wire had a short to ground between the alt and fuse.
