I've done a search and didn't come up with a direct answer. I read here and alot of guys are saying there boost is 20+ . My truck at wot is only making 16 tops thats it aint getting anymore. The thing is a slug at times. It does have 230k on the clock. starts and idles great and runs great other wise. am I crazy for thinking my truck should be making more boost in stock form? Or is there stuff I need to check on?

In stock form, the ecm is going to limit boost to 20-22psi. You probably have a boost leak so check your connections at the turbo, intercooler, and intake. Here is a link to building a boost leak tester. https://www.dieselbombers.com/dodge-...tructions.html

My 01 Auto with the HY35 turbo only hit 17psi in stock form. With a HX35 swapped on RV275 injectors and Edge Comp set on 5 it will hit 35psi with a boost elbow in the turbo. My truck has 460,000kms on it now.

I don't know what my boost was stock but with stock injectors, hy35 turbo, and edge juice I'm topping out at 32psi. A stock truck is capable of more boost but a boost fooler has to be installed (quadzilla boost fooler, edge juice, edge comp, quad adr, ect).

Thanks for the link on building a pressure tester.
Does the edge comp, have a boost fooler built into the programming? I've got an edge comp, that I got screwed on and have to send it to edge to get fixed. but once I get that back. it will be installed on the truck
Word of advice, only pay with Paypal when buying used electronics over the net. I went against my better judgement and got bit.
