I've got a 99 cummins. Automatic. And My truck has been acting up. It has absolutly no power. It will hardly get up to the speed limit. I thought I might have had a bad tps. But then I hooked it to a scanner and it read a code of p2038. And p2037. Which are both boost aensor codes. Now I jist wanted to se e if My boost fooler. Would give them codes Or if its a bad map sensor!!

 

if its having a hard time building boost then I would change the map sensor. mine was doing the same thing a few months ago throwing the same codes. now I don't have boost fooler but more than likely its probly the map.
