Default Restoring my 98.5 suspension question

I bought a 98.5 24v 5.9 diesel .It has a snow plow set up. The front springs were recently changed but it needs shocks. Can anyone make a good OEM type replacement recommendation. I did not want to get into air shocks or adjustable shocksI just want a real good gas type or hydraulic shock .Truck is stock and I intend to keep it that way. Iam changing front and rear.

I really like my bilstein 5100's. You can get them in various lengths from stock to longer for lifted trucks. You can also use our Armory section to get a quote from our sponsors. I did longer ones for mine, since it had a 2.5" leveling kit. They are zinc coated and also booted (silver shock with black boot). I'm really happy with the ride. They are a bit on the high end in terms of price though but I have had good luck with other bilstein shocks in the past, so the price to me is worth it. Good luck to you.

I'll be doing bilstein 5100's on mine when I level it in spring. Never heard anything bad about them. Only good things and like Chuffy said they come in different lengths.
