i would try using a scan tool that is able to read and reset KAM (keep alive memory) many times it is difficult to clear cmdtc's without reseting KAM

Exactly. A basic code reader (brand dependent) will not erase stored ecm codes in these trucks.

Turns out it was the code scanner thanks guys! I just updated the software on my code scanner and they cleared and took it for a ride and they did not return
