Hey guys, kinda stumpped on this one,
Truck is an 01 24v with 100k 7x13 injectors, hot rod pump, Fass system, never seen salt. Bit of head work done to it also.
Coming back from a friends house the other night, laid into it a little bit in 5th gear. Coming back down from rpm seemed like it was vapor locking up a touch. Took the nearest corner and headed home, very rough idle, white smoke and it dosent clear up anywhere in the rpm range. Cracked a couple lines at the motor, not air in the system. Fuel pressure is good, fass is running as it should. The codes were P1693, P0602, P0500. Turned the smarty back to stock reset codes and shut off the drag comp, No change. Oil is clean and so is the coolant. Got any suggestions guys? Work schedule is all over the place so diagnostic time is out the window.

 

sounds like the vp is junk

 

Injectors would be my guess or like Miller said Vp is shot.

 

P0602 is ecm fueling calibration error. Might be the ecm going out. Try unhooking the batteries, turn the key on, and let it sit for at least 30 minutes. Calibrate the apps and see what happens.

Did u ever find out what was wrong with the truck im having a similar problem the same trouble codes and it cutting out/ missing
