Default Wheels and Tires

Alright guys, who is running 35's right now with only a leveling it?
If so aftermarket wheel or stock?
If aftermarket what are the specs? Do they fit without rubbing?

I'm wanting to go with a 35 on a wide wheel with a negative offset to make them stick out and I'm thinking of going with just a leveling kit. I don't have much room to trim or beat in the fender because of the flares on my truck.

Any input would be appreciated.

I also had the same set up on my 99.

2.5" leveling kit, tires are just shy of 35x12.5. No rubbing when mounted on 17x9 wheels with a 20mm offset.

This confuses the hell out of me, I hear it both ways. Does negative or positive offset make the wheel stick out from the truck farther? I think my truck looks stupid now when the wheels being an inch or two inside the back flare. I would like them to be even or stick out past them a little bit.
Sometime I hear positive offset makes that happen and sometimes negative so I'm confused.

This depends on the backspacing of the wheels you choose. I have 16 inch Mickey Thompson Classic II wheels and they do not have enough backspacing to run the Toyo 315's without rubbing. Had to go back down to the 305s (same as a 33). Others are running 35's without any rubbing at all but I'm betting their wheels have 4+ inches of backspacing.

I don't understand it all either. When I went to the tire shop, I told them what I wanted. I also told them if they didn't fit right, I wasn't paying until it was right.

Well if you don't understand it all then I guess I don't feel to bad. You're usually the guy everyone comes to for answers or has a great input about something. Thanks!
