good news, I found the service manuals. I have one for the 2001 model year. if you will PM me your email address I can upload it to my server and provide you a link to download it because it is too big to upload on here or send through an email.

i had that problem once and it was b.c there was the wrong blubs in it true story!!!!

 

Correct, 9007 and 9004 bulbs can cause you some issues if you use the wrong ones even though the plug looks identical.
