Bought an.edge juice with attitude off a guy on cummins forum. He told me everything was like new. When.i got it the data link plug was cut off. Can.i straight wire this an it work on my 2000. It looks like the gruck side of plug has three wires, an edge has 2

 

You could, but then you would have two butchered harnesses. The weather pack connector is a very cheap, easy thing to replace.
