grid heater plus remote start ????

Default grid heater plus remote start ????


can I plug in my truck and remote start and let itrun while plugged in with no issues ? Just want to double check before messing up anything

By grid heater do you mean block heater? If so, it will be fine.

Yes that is what I meant sorry does it just warm the block , on my old 7.3 it heated tranny and fuel I think someone added that before I bought it tho

You can get multiple different heaters for each fluid if you want. The block heater will only heat the coolant in the block though.

I really am just looking for tranny warmer it Is very sluggish when it's cold I'm saving for a 6 speed but for now I'm stuck with the auto and when I have to replace it I'd rather it be on my terms

What oil are you running in it? Sounds like you have thick oil! I don't have much issues with mine, all the way down to -35.

You can put a pan heater on it if you want to. Something like this, available at most auto parts stores.

Not many agree with the cost, especially up here, but a flush and service can go a long way. The shop I use charges $240ish, and I get everything inspected and adjusted, plus synthetic oil.

I use 10w30 big rig oil can't remember the brand and I work at a shop I can do the flush myself for about 130$ so il do that ASAP but I'm a newb to the diesel community

You want to use ATF+4. When I did my tranny flush it took 16 quarts.
