Default 6th gear slip

well i dont know if i broke something but i was messing around today and set the quad adr on level 10 and got on it pretty hard from third to 6th gear, then for some unknown reason i still had my foot on the pedal but the truck wasnt going any faster and this was around 60 mph. I did it a couple more times in level 10 to see if i could do it again but it wouldnt do it again. i just have the stock tunes on my programmer. any ideas what i did?

Were the rpm's going up but not your speed?? sounds like your clutch is slipping from pushing it too hard, Usually this means the clutch is on the way out and needs to be replaced.

I am pretty sure rpms were going up and mph were not, i tried to get it to do it again but it wouldnt. i am sure i was pushing it too hard. hope i can limp it along til i can save up for a dual disc. any body had experience with south bend dual disc 3250? or should i go with valair? i am going to save and buy it just so i can have it when my current clutch goes i guess

if the rpms were going up and the truck wasn't going any faster then its def the clutch slipping, take it easy on it and don't crank the tuner up anymore till you get a new clutch in it.

If your not sled pulling/racing, get a street dual disk with the 3600 pressure plate and disks. Same price
