i have a 99 4x4 slt laramie with 220k on it. A week ago i got the edge with attitude cs i had no problems at all. Now two days ago i got the airdog 2 put it in my gas gauge doesnt work now but thtats not my main problem now..... Now if im at a stop sign or any dead start i could hit the gas enough to start goin but it only creeps forward it also boosts to around 24psi which is not the usual for the amount of gas im giving it im also getting a hint of something burning in or around the engine any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated thanks.

 

Sounds to me like your trans has givin up the ghost. Just creeping forward with that much throttle is just burning it up even worse thats probably what you can smell.

 

thanks for the help but i had help all along it turns out. That edge has a diagnostics computer and i pulled a code searched it and found out its the injection pump which is close to $3,000 reman.

 

You can get a SO injection pump for around $1100. Also with the fuel gauge not working are you sure you hooked up the harness back to its original position and presses the lock tab. It could have possibly disconnected itself.

 

im just a newb the code was a code saying any random thing could be wrong had my buddy from uti drive it said the same thing as you just thought id tell you
