I have a 99 24v mods are exhaust, intake and edge comp box. Check engine light is on and had codes for low voltage to turbo boost sensor, map sensor voltage low.... anyhow so I read something somewhere and unplugged the chip from the map sensor. Results in alot more smoke(which i was expecting) the check engine light went out AND my first setting on my comp box smokes/fuels harder and runs better than my 5th setting. Sooo my chip is messed up or I am idiot and proved nothing??? Any help will be appreciated.

 

Sounds like the module is jacked. I would take it off and contact edge and have them check it out. If it continues to do it could be a sensor problem or ECM.

 

My edge comp smokes way more 1-5 than on 5-5 but 5-5 has ten times the power than 1-5 does.
