Idle adjustment?
I am learning more about diesel all the time. Only have 6 months of experience.
I put in a new torque converter. Causing some side issues. Twin disc billet. Wants to go! Idle speed of 850 in neutral will move me at 10 mph (when in gear). Braking is also compromised a bit. Shifting in and out of low range grinds more now than before. Seems all of these issues would benefit from a lower idle speed. Is it difficult to adjust? Pretty much stock truck.
Good news is that I'm up to 21.88 mpg on my last freeway run! Every modification has benefits and draw backs. For everything you gain, you'll loose something.

You can lower ur rpms there is a screw under the plastic cover on ur pump. But don't mess with it I lowered mine n then going down the road it would die on me for about 2 seconds n then would start up again on its own.
