Default 1998.5 24v will not start no matter what we do, please help

we have a 1998.5 24v 4x4 that we have had for 12 years, this is the trucks first big problem it has ever gave us. 225,000 miles on the truck. we have a edge comp box, and a raptor 150.
the truck just died while accelerating to get onto the freeway. it didnt think about dying , it just died. whem we got it home we checked fuel preassure at the bowl, 17 psi, from there we checked the wiring, everything checked out good, next we replaced the cam sensor(was told that these motors are a single sensore type design so the truck can be driven home incase a sensor fails) so after replacing the cam sensor the truck will not fire up, next we hot wired the vp44(fused link as to not damage anything) and it still will not fire. next we took the injector lines loose at the head and cranked the motor over to see if it would blow fuel everywhere. not even a drop came out.
we checked the codes right when we got it home and saw that the codes are(this truck used to have a auto and now it has a 5spd)
code: p0753. p0713. p0711. p0720. p1763. p1765. p1693. p1688(i saw that this code was one of the pump failure codes). p0236. p1899. p0711. i have researched/ looked up all of these codes but maybe one that we feel is irrelivent is maybe the culperit that one of you fellow diesel bombers will know could cause our problems. is this all the signs of a bad pump? is it not even building up enough pressure to get fuel past the delivery valves? or is it a electrical problem and its keeping the return line open? just trying to figure out if it is the injection pump or not before we go have it rebuilt/ replaced. thank you for all of your help diesel bombers

this is what my dad said the truck has been doing up until this point;
some times the truck would seem low on power a few times a month , also it would cut out during acelleration for a little bit which i have had experiance before and i fixed this problem with a new tps but this surge felt different .

Sounds to me like your pump is dead. Especially if your not getting any pressure to the injectors. My pump is junk in my truck I can drive it with the occassional cut out in power and some spittin and sputterin under full throttle but I waitin for it to quit like you are describing. Yeah my slightly educated opinion is you are in need of a new Injection Pump.

I cant remember exactly but its either a 1688 or 1683 code where if that shows up then it is the 44 pump if you dont have any fuel at the injectors but fuel to the inj pump then it is a internal failure in the pump. These pumps arent hard to change at all. Good luck

thank you DB so much, we removed and installed a new injection pump in about a total of 5 hours(absolutely everything buttoned up) and then took the truck from central cali to reno for a short course race and had no issues at all. the truck runs/idles smoother and just sounds alot better. fuel mileage appears to be up about 1-2 mpg as well.
