I started the truck last night after cooling from a full day of running and the engine was idling rough (groaning noise with the vibration) intermittently. It was almost like the vibration was cycling in a pattern. I shut it down, counted to ten, key cycle for codes (none) and restarted and was ok. Anyone else get this?

 

That does sound odd. Has it happened any more? Any other symptoms with the truck?

 

Took a day off yesterday and ran it today and ran like a champ. I was going through real heavy rain and wild weather before it acted up. I wonder if I had a weird sensor signal or if there was a brain fart in the ECM or PCM? My mileage is right on, fuel pressure is 16/13, throttle response is great and has all the power it usually has. I'll keep an eye on it.
