i installed a df-165 about a week ago, and when I first ran it i thought the pump was a little on the loud side, it sounded like the pressure reg was in bypass all of the time, kind of a squealing sound, well today i hooked up a pressure gauge to the low pressure light port on the airdog and had a reading of about 39psi!!!!!!. I immediately adjusted the regulator so i have about 15-17psi like they are supposed to have. I hope i haven't damaged my VP44 since ive already went on a round trip of about 120 miles towing a 10,000lb trailer with it at 39psi!!!

 

I've never liked their product. Replaced a raptor last week that had only been on the truck a year. They avoided a warranty claim like crazy and made the customer purchase a new one. Then they overcharged the customer $40.00 and said it was a "shipping buffer" that will be refunded within a few "weeks" . We wont touch their stuff unless we have too..
