My 2001 with 95,000 seems to "search" for what gear to go in but only when I am going arround a turn to the left. Weird, I know. Never have noticed it doing that turning to the right. It seems to happen when I'm slowing down and making a turn to the left without coming to a complete stop. Changed the fluid and filter and adjusted bands a couple weeks ago, might have it a touch too full of fluid. Any thoughts????

 

Are your battery cables clean?that affects shifting if they are not.

 

Now who would have thought to check battery cables ? I'l check them but pretty sure they are ok. Don't get many replies on this site so thank you for yours.
