Default adding a intercooler to my 90' cummins

Im wanting to add an intercooler to my 90 dodge i already have one that came off a 92 i was wondering what all modifications if any do i have to make to make the conversion i have all the tubes and stuff.

heres a link to my write up that i did for when i put my intercooler in. its shows some problems you might run into. i think the 1st gen cooler you have is thinner than the 2nd gen one that i installed so you might be able to do something different with your grill.

A 2nd gen intercooler or the Ford PS intercooler are better choices, but sense you already have it use it. It won't hurt.

How much better would it be to get a second gen or ford intercooler

There almost twice the size. I had spots marked on my 90 to put a 1st gen cooler in. It will be a vwry tight fit around the rad but can be done. You'll need to trim rad mounts a lil and cut two holes in your rad support.
