full fuel screw bottomed

Try chasing the threads of the screw with the correct die and run the old screw in to see if it bottoms out in the same spot

I don't think the threads were bad on that side just the other side where they welded the nut

I was meaning, chase the extended screw. I haven't had any issues out of mine

Chase what? There's nothing more to chase all the threads are good it bottoms out to the oring just no runaway

what (tower ofpower)is saying......In the stock screw, the threads are flattened so you cant run it all the way in......if the after market one has good threads then the end is not going down far enough to push on what ever it pushes on (haha). I cleaned up the threads and it was not far enough. so i extended the smooth end an 1/8th inch......most likely you have the same problem. good luck

I didn't notice this flat spot on the original either but I'll try doing that weld see if it does anything because I really think these things should be way more smokey and lots more power

Some pumps are weak and will not respond to a longer fuel screw.

I have the lpplp but I think I still may be running it low so I'm gonna get a fuel gauge and see how low it goes at full fuel
