I'm in the middle of parting out my 91' D250 and just got an email about the transmission, the guy really needs it to get back to work, but is low on cash from being OUT of work....he offered me a Common Rail (NON-VGT) Turbo in trade, I emailed him asking for pictures and model number, as well as a disclaimer that if he makes the trip all the way up here, and I find out the Shaft has play or the blades are mashed, it's on HIM, not me.

Now, I was satisfied with the H1C Turbo before the harness shorted out, but at the same time, I do haul a fully loaded 375Gallon tank trailer behind me on long trips, as well as a lot of hauling on a normal basis.

I'd like to know, is it worth the trade? The transmission is a Getrag G360 2WD with 151k on it, it's a strong trans for the miles, and after pulling it, am being led to believe that it's been rebuilt within the last 10k.

Any and all advice/insight is appreciated.
