New Truck, New Problems.
I have only owned my truck for a few days, and only bought it for the motor, however, I do plan to drive it some as well.
I replaced the battery, Volt Reg and the Alternator, and it will NOT charge, I have tried everything I could to get things to work, but no luck, I think it HAS to be a fusible link, but I've owned Fords most my life, and not many dodges, Can anyone point me to where I can find the fusible link for this?
My other problem is the Brake Lights and Turn signals, they work SOMETIMES, but almost never, I need all this stuff fixed to use it, and the sooner the better, I have a few important runs to make to Cheyenne that require a truck.

If I can get that bypassed, I can move our stuff over to Laramie (Palatalized IBC totes) so I can start to get them sold.
Make sure you put another fusible link in place. I wouldn't just "bypass" the fusible link.. there's something that caused it to burn up in the first place. Trace your charge back wire and such to make sure it's not grounded out someplace.
OK, well guys, I searched all over the truck, and found that there had been a family of mice that were bunked up in the front most cavity of the passngers fender, they stripped a lot of wires, and I assume with one of the many bumps I hit (I live on a county road) that it just shorted out, I found about 5 locations where the wire coatings were melted, burnt or completely severed.
I have determined that it's better to just pull the motor, and sell the truck off, or trade it for an NV4500 trans.
Thanks for all the help guys.

It stinks....
But I'm ok with starting my swap early, the frame and body on this truck aren't in very good condition, but the motor, even with a slight injector knock, runs amazing, and not even the slightest blowby
I think I got a good deal no matter, Working Jacobs E-Brake, First year of the intercooler, turbo has ZERO shaft play or bearing whine.....it's just a dirty motor with a dying injector, all for $2100
