dyno problems
So I recently put my truck on the dyno to prove a point to one of the members on here. Most of you know that when you tell some to hold your beer it doesn't turn out well. I for unknown reasons had no idea that there are dyno corrections given the lbf... I understand now.. So to get back to my story, I made one run and was about 330 with correction 380 ish without (I hope I got that right).. anyway second run I gave it HELL, dumb idea. I know stutter and stammer when I floor it... no where else. I can ease into the turbo and still have a nice pull, but when I hammer it no go.. When in 5th gear the turbo also seems to build psi too quick.. When I watch the gauge in a higher RPM the needle rises too quickly in my opinion (compared to before)... I think I have a damaged waste gate. I still have the cylinder preload but the engine flatins out at about 2500 and just gennerally dogs at about the same RPM... I am going to tear it apart this weekend to have a look at the turbo.. Just want some outside suggestions. I really appreciate you guys thanks.
