So I'm going to look at the 89 4x4 tonight and the other either tonight too or tm.

Ok so looked at the 89 last night. Here some pics seemed to drive good breaks are real weak I'm guessing booster needs replaced felt like I was driving something with manual breaks. It also seemed to run hot would get below 400 egt's at an idle In gear, but idk if the gauge is off.
Has pump turned up and a Danny t smoke pin screw whatever it's called. The body really rough little rust but lots of hail damage and dents.

yeah, you can get a something with a ppump in it for that kinda money. starters are not cheap, but it could just be the two brass contacts in the solenoid. i would offer between 1500 and 1700. and its a sure thing the tranny will splode

 

The 89 starter is good but truck is really rough he said his bottom dollar is 2800. I'm going to wait a couple days and see if he'll take 1700-1500.

Then I'm going to look at the 91 2wd dually hopefully Monday.
