Do a little lookin around e-bay, in the compleated listings, auto traider, see what people are giving for them, KBB don't know jack about what people are paying, just what banks will loan on it.

i have watched every 1st gen for sale on e-bay, crags list, and auto traider, for 4 years now,( it's a fetish of mine i guess), i have seen many 4x4's go for 15k and up to 22k, i know the guy that gave 22k for one, you must see what they are selling for not what someone says there worth.

i say 6 plus for shure and could go as high as 8k if the right guy is bidding.
it looks very very clean and nice job on the rear seat.

Thanks for the advise Dar. So do you feel Ebay would be the best exposure if I decide to sell? I guess an auction makes me a little nervous, can I have a minimum acceptable price? Low mileage rust free trucks from out west here should have some interest I would think.

Only prob with eBay is commission fees, they can rack up and cut into profit. There is a minimum sale price but I believe there's something you have to pay up front otherwise eBay is out money for your listing if it doesn't sell. Basically set what you want out of the truck and it can only go up from there.

Jim you can do it two ways, you can start the bidding off at your lowest dollar, then if 1 person bids it will sell, the other is to set a reserve, no one but you knows what that is untill they bid past it (that cost a couple bucks when you list it.

Default Thanks guys

Thank you all for your suggestions, I started out close to home with a Craigslist add here in Farmington, NM today and will branch out with your tips as time progresses. I started pretty high, room to come down.. She's nice and should sell easy, I'm going to miss her.
