Default kdp advice

I have been working on my swap and am getting very close to done. Truck is running driving just lots of little finish work. The motor is a 92 and I have no idea if the pin has ever been tabbed or whatever it is you do. Is there a simple way to look or check without yanking the whole front cover off?
