Default Injection pump problems

Can anyone help me i have a 1993 cummins and i think the injection pump has a few problems, does anyone know why it feels like it pulls when im in drive and im stoped holding the brake in? i tried adjusting the fuel screw, idle, and smoke screw i was wondering if i have to turn the star wheel? an if i do i was wondering which way?

Pulls? like it is idling high and wanting to go? Your idle should be around 700-800 and before you go playing around too much and forget your orginal settings, write down the adjustments you made specially if you dont have gauges (pyro/boost).
