Default Leaky VE pump question

I'm about to pull the trigger on a reseal job on my pump that's leaking a slow steady stream from the front shaft. But I can't help wondering if just replacing the shaft seal will cure the problem. Any of ya'll done that successfully? I'd HATE to replace the seal, reinstall the pump, only to find that it would STILL leak because the problem isn't simply the front seal... and have to pull the pump AGAIN and the STILL have to pay to get it resealed....

I know how you feel. Mine started doing the same thing about three months ago and cant figure out where its coming from. I might pull mine out and send it to scheids and let them put new seals, and gaskets from top to bottom. Figure if im going to pay to get one fixed might as well get all new ones put in it.

Nozzle Master in Orlando is gonna do mine for $350. That's a lot more than a $23 seal, but they're doing 'em all, so I'll have $350 worth of confidence while I drive!
