I read in diesel power that project rust bucket lopes with the 14mm ve because of the custom ground cam plate. There's a vid about it on youtube you just can't hear it to well.

If he want's a lope, and a diesel, tell him to get an IDI and then set the idle at 300-400.

Why is this??? because everyone should do the exact same thing to their trucks???? And ppl that want something different are automatically stupid??? Ignorance aggravates me.... make your own thread about how you don't like trucks that lope... or keep your mouth shut...

So hows the build goin? Just tell him to tap his foot on the go pedal when he wants it to lope

On a more serious note, I've seen people do this....

there is so much you can do to those trucks with out gettin in the engin cams are not worth any thing and if your gonna build the engin build every thing else an engin aint worth jack didaly if you cant get it to the gound so go with a built tranny atleast befor you put a "cam" in it

well anyone who knows anything about diesels knows that lope is not desired and hard on stuff, ppl just need to do some research before talking about stuff like lope, you guys wouldnt last long on competition diesel

Actually, a cam is very worthwhile in a performance diesel. It just won't make the engine lope.
