how are you goin to control a 47re though?

you can control them with a controller offered by several companies that you can tune with your own laptop(if you buy the software) or you can intstall a manual vb and run switches for the lock up and od.

run the 47rh same as 47re minus the electronic governor. uses a mechanical gov. would make for a cheaper install and less headaches.

Oh ya thats right i forgot about using a manual valve body. i bet that controler is mighty expensive tho

depends, i believe you can make your own controller because the manual vb essentially makes it so you run a ground, o/d, and lock up switch, but if you have to run the controller they go for about 3-400 but its nice being able to adjust on the fly. its no fun pullin a trailer with a race tune for your u-joints haha

Found a rebuilt 727 with rebuilt converter for $1,100.00 + shipping from Indiana. Did not need a core. Almost back on the road!!!

What is better? Hot Flushing coolers of buying aftermarket transmission cooler?
