Ha ha....I'm not nervous, it's just time man. Getting the balancer drilled for a crank pulley, intake piping, mounting, idler pulley, clearancing the crossmember, electric fans, $2-3K for the blower, etc. Don't worry though, it is a new years resolution

Edit: Actually one of the main reasons I am doing it is to add about 200rwhp without the bottle, AND clear up my idle haze so I can actually drive the thing here in LA. People I have talked to have told me that they have had 4-5psi at idle with a Procharger, so I am hoping it will clear up my smoke under low/no load conditions. They have also said it helps with fuel economy so that I will be curious about also considering I already get 25-27mpg depending on how I drive.

I thought that superchargers decreased fuel economy because they use the the crank to spin them instead of wasted exhaust energy? i could be wrong because I didn't even know people supercharged modern diesels.

There's something I'm still a little puzzled about with the supercharger. Does the supercharger charge the turbo intake? Since most chargers safely produce 8-10 psi I'd think that'd starve the turbo once it spooled. Or do the turbos feed the supercharger taking the air that is provided to it and compounding it. I'd think it'd be easier for the supercharger to get its air thru a turbo versus a turbo pulling air from a supercharger. Otherwise; you'd have to get a supercharger capable of flowing the equivalent CFM of a turbo at say 35psi to keep from choking it. Am I thinking correctly?

As long as the extra energy they produce out weighs what they pull in resistance from the crank it should go up.

Ummm, . . .. IIRC, the typical 6-71 GMC blower sen on may big-big dragsters was originally used on a GMC diesel (6 cylinders, of 71cu/in each). It was used to scavenge the exhaust.

I'm just thinking of it in terms of a regular compound arrangement. The supercharger has a bigger compressor side (115mm and 2700cfm) than I could ever hope of spooling with a VE, so it's my theory that the airflow potential will be equal or greater than what I could do with a turbo. Now, Superchargers take a lot more hp to make more boost, so My goal is to run a fairly low boost level (say 15psi) into the turbo as to not draw too much HP loss from the crank, and then use the turbo to compound it up to 80-100psi. Since the 62mm turbo I am using flows about 900cfm, as far as the blower is concerned, it will just be blowing into a big block Chevy-sized engine.
