Default 2wd to 4wd conversion

i am in the middle of 2 big projects. i am making my 99 reg cab dually into an extended cab short bed . i got the 99 4x4 cummins for $1500 with 100,000 miles on it. it was jack-knifed and bent the cab, both doors, one fender and bad ring gear in the front. then i aquired a 97 extended cab heavy half 4x4 long bed(bad motor) for $300 for a body donor.

my second project is the 93 2wd dually auto trans.

can i take my old 99 front axle and put it under my 93? (i am not scared of any mods to make mounts match up.) any preferences on leaf springs over the current coils?

next...can i mount the transfer case from the 97 half ton to my 93 auto trans.? anyone know the splines or if any adapters exist.

if i can do this i have myself 2 4x4 cummins duallies for around $2500 to 3000.

any info is greatly appreciated.

just to let you know the frame on the 2wd is about a 1/2 inch wider then a 4wd frame in the front on the 93

As for the transfer case not to sure it would hold up to any towing or out playing hard in snow or mud.
