How do i get the input shaft out of the getrag? Is there a little snap ring or something inside? I thought it would just slide out when i took the candle stick (front bearing retainer) off. I just dont wanna tear anything up worse than it is.

 

You gotta remove the topof the tranny, take the back case off and pull the man shaft up and the input will pop up with the main shaft.

 

I was told if you get the gears lined up it'll just slide right out?

 

line up the flat spot theres 4 flat teeth
