Possibility of a Reg Cab Short Bed w250 Cummins..?
I've come across a decent looking truck for sale. It is a w250 and you can tell from the 8-lug axles. I talked to the guy on the phone and he says it is the Cummins motor with a 5 speed. I didn't think that dodge made a regular cab short bed 3/4 ton, let alone one with a Cummins. What do you guys think? the pictures don't look like it was custom built. i'm waiting on pics of the interior along with pics of under the hood. Idk if you guys will be able to see these or not..

Well i cant see pictures and i have never seen any reg cab short bed diesel that were factory in my life, Ford, Dodge, or Chevy. However Chevy did have a 6.2 Blazer but that is beside the point. I have had people swear they saw one but i only believe what i see. It is most likely someones little dream rig come true.
Not very professional to convert a 150 to a 250 frame is smaller, weaker and not as thick. You may be ok if you never tow anything with it. you start working it and your going to see problems. the 250 and 350 frames aren't strong enough.
Can't see the pics but if it clean, you like it, and you think teh price is fair it sounds like you found a nice truck thats different!
I would not wory about it. It will hold up fine unless yuo plan on towing real heavy which if you do I would not get a reg cab short bed.
