Default Intake Manifold Swap

Can an Intake Manifold from a 94 12 vavle fit a 91.5 12 valve?? The reason I ask is I can't find an aftermarker high performance intake manifold but found an AFE Intake Manifold for a 94 and just wondering if it would fit?? Thanks!

I believe it should work but I would spend the money on something else. You can make a lot of power with the factory one

So a stock 3rd Gen Intake Manifold WILL fit on a 1st gen 12 valve and flow better than the stock 1st Gen Intake Manifold??? Is that what your saying? Swap the 1st Gen with a 3rd Gen?

they are saying dont do it. its not worth the money for the power gained unless your way up there on the dyno. there are way better mods!

Well I already got a big to do list for it this winter just trying to find an Intake Manifold to help a lil. So far my list includes

HX35 Turbo
New Exhaust Manifold
4 inch dual exhaust out the back with 5 inch tips
ARP Head Studs
165 GPH Air Dog Fuel/Lift Pump
60 HP Injectors
Denny T Fuel Pin
Rebuild Trans With Suncoast Torque Converter, BD Valve Body and Deep Oil Pan
And A Better Air Intake and Filter And Intake Manifold

What Yall Think?

a boost fooler for the hx35

head studs at this point arnt necesary but good insurance. could go without with these mods

Im saying that a 3rd gen and cooler tubz flow better then stock 1st gen plus cooler tubz give you a dropin egt of 50 to 100you degrees and as far as your mods 366 gov spring m&h dynamic timing advance a bigger turbo s300 or hx super 40. And a goerend trans and converter and a dnr customs s&b intake

...... I'm so confused

OK are there any Intake Manifolds that fit any other Cummins 2nd Gen, 3rd Gen, Etc, Ect, that will fit on a 91.5 Cummins?

I found a company that makes some bad hiney ones but don't offer one for the 1st gen just 94 and up like always so jw if any will bolt up????
I
dc about "stock flow" or whatever any aftermarket horn HAS to be better than a square stock one and i will be upgrading the boost tubes from turbo to intercooler and intercooler to horn so I want a better horn. if not for performance then for looks cuz it's going to be powder coated blue like the truck.

Thanks!

The ones I found are Pusher Intakes they have one for the 94 12 valve.

Check the link I posted it explain the uses of a 3rd gen and cooler tubz. The grid heater are the same as a 94+ its contact with 1sta gen hoods that's why aftermarket ones don't work the hood hits and if you doing the intercooler charge pipes get a set of cooler tubz. Those pushers are a cheap knock offs

Grids are the same as newer trucks so it'll bolt up.

The height and angle of the pipes is what matters
