is this the piston pump that you need to trim the valley out to get it to clear? and how do you like it, did it help with power/ MPG? i'm wanting to put an electric or mech pump on mine.

Where are you getting your fuel pressure readings from? Right at the pump inlet? I drilled and tapped my AFC delete in the return galley where the banjo bolt screws in. Gauge bounces everywhere, might just be a cheap gauge. I have a replacement but Haven't messed with it since. just don't know if you guys are seein where you're pulling down supply pressure or actual case pressure; or if there's really a difference between the two. That LP looks like its workin slick

And case pressure is way higher then the 15psi when it gets going someone made a replacement for the fss that was tapped for case pressure and I believe it goes over 80psi

Sounds about right, the needle was bouncing around 40-60... Maybe higher, I think the newer gauge has a built in snubber. Sounded like a really good idea to tap my pump top . I'd install the gauge at the Airdog but the length of the run doesn't mean itd show the same pressure at the pump but thanks for the info.
