Still running mechanical here I like being able to run with no alt or battery if need be

I would have to agree with you, I like mechanical but your electric shut off solenoid still needs electricity to do its job; so that's kind of a pointless statement.

Gotcha, I knew they'd run no matter what if gutted but hard to tell if you were already running a cable.
