Thanks for the video very cool little tool. For someone that is starting out like me it's refreshing to see how people with knowledge does things. I think that saves the world a few less 4-letter words. Thanks again

That thing is slick! I'm gonna have to make me one of those

Use the vice grips as a last resort, they tend to mess the threads up if you use ones that are too small

Ha, me, knowledge? Everything I've learned has come from here, DTR, and my father, and I'm no where close to most of the people on here. It is a really neat little tool. My dad had a 12 valve before he got a 6.7L and he needed to pull the injectors (this was before I stumbled across that gem of a video). As a last resort he bought the cheapest Chinese vice grips he could find. The theory is that if the metal is cheap and soft then the vice grips will get deformed before the threads. We have used them a few times since for this purpose and I believe it has saved us some cash in the long run.
