Engine/ Transmission Mounts

Well . . ..
Comparing the: In good shape, stock/OEM transmission & engine mounts to these poly mounts, . . . . makes one appreciate the science that goes into a given mount, including "Mechanical Coupling and De-Coupling". Softer Rubber VS Firmer Polyurethane.
They certainly hold the engine firmer. This comes with a cost though, a firmer mount is gonna transmit more vibration to the frame. This means more engine related noise to the truck and the drum of a cab we ride in.
In my mess, anything below 800 engine RPM, lights up anything that is loose in or of the truck. Big-time rattle. Think of the high-school kid with dual, 1000 watt, 18" subs in the trunk bouncing a pocket-knife on the roof, laughing. Or so it seems inside my cab. Outside, it rattles like any other old diesel pick-up truck. Mostly the engine up front.
As the engine is sped-up, the engine vibrations smooth out and thus, everything calms down.
. . . It's gonna take some getting use too . . . . . .. . . .

I must add that the new mounts slightly repositioned the engine compared to that removed . . . which should be expected. That may have contributed to the extra in-cab noise in my case.
Having drove the truck 30 or so miles including a couple of passes over some railroad track (perhaps a bit too fast) has things settle down. Considering I lifted the front of the engine almost four inches during the swap, I suppose things got a little tweaked.
It's much better now in gear, at idle (800 ~ 900 engine rpm) though it is noticeably louder than the rubber mounts. You know you've got tighter polyurethane mounts.
