Nope still kicking, just summer is busy as heck with pulling and working on trucks. Stuffs slowin down so I'll be back to my normal patterns soon

I think your forgetting winter is normally cloudy. Solar panels don't work to well when they don't get any sun light.

You would need a solar panel the size of the parking lot to generate enough juice for the block heater. IIRC, it pulls like 750w.

where would i look into one of these solar panels, i like the idea but i have to agree with the other guys wouldnt the ice and such make it hard to get light to it to charge it up?? im just curious good idea though i like it anymore out there??
