So the upper bearing on my steering shaft quite literally fell apart, causing my steering to catch and get stuck. Now i got the bearing out and nobody has it, not even the internet. Junkyards dont have older dodge trucks, and i even tried dodge itself and they could not find it. I dont know where else to try, any one have ideas or an old first gen laying around?

 

does it have a national or timken number?

 

it has no numbers at all, its just a small ball bearing

 

take it to a bearing supply outfit they should be able to take the dimensions and look in the timken/ skf / national/ etc catalogs and find one

 

I would just change the stearing colum I dont think it matters if it comes out of a diesel or not so that shoud make it eaiser to find one but I could be wrong.
