Front Leaf springs

I'm looking at getting used leaf springs for the front of my pick up would 1974
Leaf Spring Front Dodge Truck 100 Series in good condition be a good swap or would the weight of my engine not make it compatible enough?

they would probably be too light for a diesel. I put a 3 inch gas spring in mine and it settled to 2 inch which made the front level
