Default was thinking p-pump...now engine swap?

i own a 91 250 4x4. i was thinking of upgrading pumps, i can get a complete motor. say out of a 1998 12v. will the rest of the motor just be the same as my current config. (stock 91). meaning wires, hoses, ect?

you will have to keep your current alternator, but about everything else should work, i just did the same thing a month ago, if you can get the throttle cable from the 98 you will need it. doing the complete swap will be easier than the pump conversion. make sure you replace the rear main while you have the new engine on the stand. good luck
